Our Story
How We Met
For those who may not know, we met through a mutual friend while Jill was working with him at the City of Welland. After Jill sent the first message on New Year's Eve 2022, Michael planned our first date for the following week.
Over coffee and cheesecake (gluten- and dairy-free, of course), a friendship blossomed, a spark was ignited, and from that moment on, we've spoken or been together every single day.
Over the past days, we've traveled and adventured together, bought and renovated our beautiful home, cared for each other through a broken foot and an appendectomy, and, most importantly, offered unwavering love and support.

The Proposal
Michael proposed on November 1st, after a cozy evening at home filled with laughter and conversation. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and shared our favorite dessert, all in the comfort of our own home. As the moment unfolded, our two beloved cats looked on, making the proposal even more special and intimate with our little family complete.
